　　Sitting in the wooden house, we can see the farmyard is very plain and simple which makes us feel cold and depressed. Except the pale yellow on the branch and vivid green around the grass, we can not see spring in the air, let alone hear the spring songs.

　　敞开门户，迎接晨光。画面上大面积的背光处理与破门而入的阳光投影形成强烈的反差。阴影部分的环境色统一在蓝紫色的冷调之中，虚实相间、层次分明，得以充分表现而备觉丰富多彩。

　　空山鸟飞绝，绝处有人家。不闻鸡犬声，但见炊烟起。所谓“人烟”即生活气息之根本所在“有烟起则人在”。暮色山林中，炊烟升腾，人气旺盛，生活气息超越画纸扑面而来。

　　In spatial mountain birds fly away, untrod place has others. Does not hear the cock and dog sound, but sees the rising smoke from kitchen chimneys. The so called smoke from kitchen chimneys means breath of life. Where we can see this smoke, where we can see people. In the dusk, smoke ascends slowly from the forest, we strongly feel the happiness of life.

　　层峦叠嶂、十万大山，由近及远，连绵不断。云遮雾障，使得山体轮廓不尽清晰分明，但迷茫之中自有一种朦胧的美感。用随性、自由、洒脱的笔触表现变化无常的云雾，体现了心灵的感应与艺术思维的契合。

　　Cloudy Mountain

　　Peaks over peaks extend from the near to the distant. Because of the clouds the mountain is not clear, but it is hazy and beautiful. The free brush work expresses the protean cloud and mist, and the combination of telergy and artistic thinking.

　　印子墙、青石板围合这木构老屋，老屋在画里画外透出历史的厚重，青青墙头草不仅活跃了灰调子的画面，更体现了顽强抗争的生机。倘能身临其境，真想体验赤脚走在青石板上的滋味。

　　Green Stone House

　　This old wooden house is surrounded by print wall and green stone. The old house is very gray both in the picture and in reality. But the green grasses in the cornerstone not only activate the gray picture but also show the strong vital force. If I were personally on the scene, I would try to walk on the green stone barefoot.

　　村寨的木屋、吊脚楼掩映绿树林间，蓝天、远山与河水烘托出一派人与自然的和谐气氛。这般休养生息，恬淡平和，仙人也不过如此而已。

　　The wooden house and Diaojiao Loft hide in the forest. Blue sky, mountain and river demonstrate the harmony between human being and nature. Life here is so peaceful and comfortable, like the life of faery.

　　世态炎凉，几分沧桑，几分凝重，熟褐色的古朴木屋在光影、色彩的矛盾对抗中，形成冷暖的强烈对比。物是人非，叩问边城木屋，沈从文笔下的“翠翠”还会有来世再生吗?

　　Wooden House in the Outskirt

　　The old brown wooden house, ex-periencing a lot of suffering, forms strong contrast between cool tonality and warm tonality in ambivalent confrontation of light and shade and color. Everything is changing. I want to ask whether Cuicui( a character in the novel of Shen congwen)will come back again.

　　未见潭边生紫草，但见潭中水、水中石，一派虚实相间、明暗对比、动静有致的生动景象。冷色天光，清丽水质，水激石坚……近水之欢、亲水之快跃然画面。

　　Zicao Pond

　　In the Pond, no weed grows, only the pebbles lying deep in the clear water can be seen. This vivid picture is bright and dark, dynamic and static. Gray sky and cold light, clear water flowing around hard stones… the happiness playing with water are jumping out from the picture.

　　灰蓝的天空充满阳光，午后的阳光斜照在高高低低的屋舍之中，游离于大大小小、不同质感和色彩的墙面上，光影交错，参差斑驳，一切在光与影的交错中合奏着一曲曲生命的乐章。

　　Grey-blue sky is full of sunlight. The sun shines obliquely on the houses in different heights, which are dissocitated with walls of various quality feeling and colors in different sizes. Interlaced light and shadows, uneven and mottled, compose the musical movements of life.
