Jinbian Cliff is the excellent artistic work of nature for its grand posture and refined shape. As the marked scenic spot, it is genuine. It is not excessive even we regard it as the nonesuch of scenic spots in Wu ling yuan Yuan landscape scenery system.No matter who are you , you will be deeply attracted by it and stop your steps in front of it.Besides the grandeur, there is strong contrast between vivid green and dark color which makes us feel quite splendid.The painter not only thought of the common rule of perspective but also tried to use the skill of oil painting spatula, the skill of pigment dry brushing and acumulating to express the aesthetic environment of mountain and stone.

Autumn sprays its sunshine to every part of the town, so we can feel warm not only by eyes.We certainly smell the taste of sunshine through colors and shadow. The residential ecological balance by peace and harmony was original from colorful light and the beautiful brush work.
3 得夯小村280cm×380cm
在我的辞典里“好景不长”可以放之四海,唯独不愿意将它与得夯相关联。上个世纪80年代的“到此一游”令我印象深刻、回味无穷。2005年再度寻访得夯却是面目全非,宁静、淡泊、安逸、和谐早已绝尘而去,令人扼腕叹息!直面现实中的得夯,我宁愿让思绪与情感停留在画布上的“得夯小村”。
Dehang Village 280cm×380cm
I first visited Dehang village in the 1980s.Its beautiful scenery was strongly impressed on my memory. To my disappointment, I visited it again in 2005 and found it had totally changed. The peaceful and harmonious scenery before disappeared. Facing the real Dehang village, I would rather appreciate it in the picture.

满眼春绿,春意盎然;枝繁叶茂,生机勃发。画面上色彩浓郁而厚重,笔触繁复而富于变化,又不失有序的章法。丰富的空间层次与韵律美感,正是基于作者繁复、变化而有序表达的绘画功底。

Spring is in the air, the trees turn green, and blossom out, everything is animate. The color is deep, brush work is complicated and everything is in order. For this ability of the painter, we can see different layers and rhythem in the picture.
5 芙蓉镇街尾280cm×380cm
在经典的王村,本该关注四季常开的芙蓉,画作却另辟蹊径,不经意地定格在不起眼的街尾。正是在这“不经意”与“不起眼”之间,大面积受光与小面积背光的艺术冲突,冷暖色调、亮面与暗部色彩的强烈对比,演绎了芙蓉镇在艺术境界里的无限延伸。

In the Wang village, the painter does not pay attention to the perennial hibiscus but pay attention to the outskirt. 6 旧景长沙——侯家塘330cm×405cm
捧起这幅旧作,我曾不止一次让朋友们猜度这幅画作的写实地点,结果十有八九朋友们会感到茫然。或许是因为过于熟悉,司空见惯,人们才会熟视无睹城市今非昔比的变迁与进化,以至于曾经再熟悉不过的地方也变得如此陌生而隔膜了起来。感谢历史的记忆,让我们享有怀古念旧的情怀。当年的我,手上功夫还不见得娴熟,表现技法也谈不上老道,但这写实风格的画作,却让我们今天备感亲切,乃至于孤芳自赏。那立于街头拐角如同鸟笼子一般的交警岗亭、十字路口交会处的红绿灯装置、人字形屋顶、沿街的门面,以及骑自行车的路人……这便是久违了的侯家塘旧景!
Old Scenery in Changsha-Houjia Pond 330cm×405cm
I usually ask my friend to guess the real place in the picture, however, most of the time they are puzzled. Maybe they are so familiar with this place as to neglect the improvement and development of the city. As a result, the places which they were familiar with before become strange to them.Thanks to the memory of the history, I quite enjoy meditating on the past. This picture makes me feel so intimate although I did not draw very well in the past. You see the traffic box like a bird cage in the street corner, the traffic lights in the intersection, the shops along the street and the herringbone roof. All of these are the old scenery of Houjia Pond, Changsha.
7 凤凰吊脚楼 280cm×380cm
灰色的基调引领我们步入湘西凤凰古城的特定时空,几根木柱从河岸边歪歪斜斜地立起,竟然会不可思议地支撑起古朴、平实的吊脚楼。神奇的结构承载着沧桑与凝重。

Walking into the old town of Fenghuang, we can see a few logs stand aslant on river bank which can hold up the archaic Diaojiao Loft. The magic structure bears a lot of suffering.

Air was fresh, the painter began to draw the picture actively in the comfortable environment. He neglected all the details, maintained abstract resume, deleted freely, searched for whole in the change and collected many vivid and fresh artistic elements to display the life force.
9 索溪峪入口280cm×380cm
在返程候车的间歇时空里,归途在即,可我的画笔仍滞留在索溪峪,满眼的嫩绿栖息在树梢、枝头,春光明媚,我的心尖上充满无尽的绿色意韵。

As I was about to go back, my brush still rested on it. I was deeply attracted by the green trees and felt so wonderful.

凡是来凤凰旅游的人,或者是艺术家,都会对此地留下深刻的印象。黄永玉先生的住所便在其中。依山环水,这种形与色的结合,使这古老的县城愈加透出一种神秘的浪漫。是岁月的沧桑,也是自然的佳酿。
Tuo River
Artists and visitors make deeply impression to Tuo River after coming to the town of Fenghuang . The famous artist Mr Huang yongyu is living here .The mountain and water is around ,colour and form is combined , so the old country reveals a sence of romantic and mythical. It is suffering or engendering as well?

高耸入云的大山和参天大树,使人感觉自然是那么的伟大,人与其相比是多么的渺小。画面充实的色彩与精心细致的刻画,颇能吸引、打动人。大自然是人类真正的家园,而精神的复归才是真正的解脱。
Path in the Forest
The erect mountains and towering trees let people feel the greatness of nature. How tiny the people are while facing the nature. The saturated colors and elaborate drawing strokes are attractile and impressive. Nature is the real homeland for human and the regression of souls is the true extrication.
12 溪水潺潺 310cm×260cm
溪水在群山中静静地流淌,经年累月、无怨无悔。欢歌也好,低吟也罢,都算得上是世界上最美妙动听的乐曲。
Bubbling Stream
Stream is flowing silently among the mountains year after year without complainant. No matter the happy songs or the croon, they are all the fair-sounding songs in the world.

必定是经历了岁月的风风雨雨,才会如此飘摇到今日。木屋欲坠不过是老朽而已,笔墨之间更显木屋老态,见证衰亡、破败之余,更企盼来日的辉煌。
Old House
The old house has gone through much hardship. The pen and ink reveals the house is very old. Besides witnessing decay and dilapidation in the past, it is expecting the splendid future.
14 田野 395cm×550cm
绿野围合着村落,仙踪却在有无之间,着实令人琢磨不透,再纯粹不过的写实风格,再随意不过的笔触,骨子里却藏匿着浪漫情怀。
Field
The green fields close round the village, but the faerie is mysterious, making us feel puzzled. This is a very realistic style, but the simple brush work contains romantic.
15 路口 395cm×550cm
远山仍在留恋烟雨蒙蒙的布尔乔亚情调,瓦蓝的色调却还原了小镇街景的一派清新。传统与现实融合、接轨。雨过天晴的变脸,场景转换的间歇,正如同这时空变化的路口。
The Crossing
The distant mountains are still missing the rainy environment of Bourgeois, but blue brings the small town cleanliness. Tradition and reality are together. Sunshine after rain and changes between scenes are like the changeable roads.
16 金鞭溪 550cm×395cm
采用“弃笔用力”的厚画表现技法,获得了油画般的画面质感。立足于溪边观山看景,水的灵秀、润泽、浸染,更使峰峦叠嶂挺拔而伟岸。
Jinbian Brook
The painter uses thick painting skill to get the tactile sensation like oil painting. Standing on the brook bank and looking at the scenery, we can see the mountains look much more strapping and straight by the clear water.

作画时略带仰视角度,屋前屋后草丛小树,环境清幽,山野的空远一时间使画面变得栩栩如生。
The House by the Path
Looking up, seeing green trees dotted around the house, quiet and relaxing, just at the moment, the vision of distant mountains activates the whole scene.
18 基地食堂260cm×500cm
所谓“基地食堂”,指的是我们写生实习基地的食堂。遇上那种没完没了的雨天,实在无法出门,我们就会盯上这“一日三餐,以食为天”的关键所在。除了等饭吃,亦会将创作欲望与冲动情不自禁地发散挥洒……
Base Dining Room
Base Dining Room means the place where we paint or sketch from nature and practise. When we meet the rainy days and can not go out, we have to stay here. Besides waiting for the dinner, we also can not help bringing our creativity into play…
